Welcome to the a well equiped apartment in the south central of Slovenia. The accommodation is set up with kitchen, living corner, dinette, a great bathroom and 2 sleeping rooms. All over you have a great sight on the mountains gallery, on the valley of the river Mirna and through the fairy tale landscape.
The capital city Ljubljana is only 45 minutes away. The capital of Croatia, Zagreb, also only one hour. Novo mesto is our regional capital and only 20 minutes away.
In Šmarješke toplice is a thermal bath and a sauna area. If you like it completely narutal there is, only 15 minutes away, a natural thermal bath called Klevevž.
In our area are a lot of restaurants up to two Michellin stars for favorable money.
VILLA KATARINA is a good value apartment for everyone who likes to switch of. Middle in the beautiful nature of Lower Carniola you are getting fresh energy.

Environment & Substainability
We are a substainable accomodation in upper class standard. The most materials oft he apartment are natural. Also our heating system and all the energy, even from the air condition, are solar powered. Our electricity is solar powered and the heating system is 80 % renewable through wooden heating. Our aim is to get completely sustainable until 2023.
Also we have a garden with old sorts of fruit trees and a demeter garden with lots of vegetables, herbes and flowers.
For us it is very important to do a lot against the climate change and also a big for biodiversity.
With your stay at VILLA KATARINA, you help us to do a lot for our environment and to invest in new technologies. So we are reducing our carbon dioxide footprint every year more optimized and we are investing in biodiversity and our beekeeping.
